Arrival at IHS will be 3:00 or earlier. Mr. Schatt would appreciate if everyone promptly claims their child and all of his or her belongings.
Pictures on Monday. Please arrive by 11:15 for the 11:45 am picture.Come earlier if last minute uniform fitting is required.
Rehearsals are from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. every Wednesday evening beginning August 5 and will continue weekly every Wednesday evening through the end of the football season
10:45 a.m., arrive at the high school. Students will march wearing their new white band polos, blue jeans, belt, band shoes with calf length white socks.
The Music Boosters will have booths at Home Days selling Pop, Water, Walking Tacos and Shaved Ice. Pop/Water - All band members are expected to take one shift. Each squad has signed up for times. Please ask your band member what shift they are working. If parents or students can work extra shifts, please contact Judy Ciulla at 216-524-9086. The Boosters also need Band and Vocal Members AND their parents to help with the Walking Taco and Shaved Ice booths. Please contact Julie Scotton 216-904-0864 if you or your student can help.
IMPORTANT
ICE -- It is mandatory that band members bring a bag of ice when arriving to work the pop booth for their assigned shift.
An Ambassador program for new/incoming music students has been created. "Dollars For Dining" at Mavis Winkles featuring the local band Trancemitter. On Saturday, August 29 from 11:30 am to 11:00 p.m. Print the attached flyer and bring to Mavis Winkle's to have 20% of your bill donated to the IHS Marching Band. Trancemitter, featuring all of your favorite Marching Band percussionists, Mike Abbadini, Nikki Bandsuh, Skylar Keffer and Austin Latare, will be playing from 7:00-9:00 pm that evening.
